Attacus Atlas
In terms of
wing surface area, the Atlas Moth is considered to be the largest moth in the
world. Its wingspan can reach a total of 30 cms.
It is said this moth uses its snake head-like
design at its wing tips as a defence mechanism to scare off predators.

Understanding
: Most of all this picture taken by myself in Cameron Highlands forest with
light trap, but not in Same / 1 day.
You will be able to see many kind of
Beetles, Bugs, other Insects and Mont's.
We will be able to do this program whole year around because there is no season involved.

TOUR HIGHLIGHT :
The tour starts from Tanah Rata / Brinchang town at 7:00
pm ( free pick up at your hotel ) and it takes about 1 hour journey to the
destination. Our native guide will do all the necessary
preparation before our arrival at the destination like fixing light trap and so
on...
We need to wait for about 1 ~ 2 hours
for the Insect's, Bug's & Moth's. We will be spending maximum 10:00 pm
.Once you are ready we will be heading to your hotel and the journey takes
about 1 hour and the whole program takes about 4 hours.
The tour normally ends between 11:00 ~ 11:30 pm.
Please be prepared with :-
a. Good walking shoes.
b. Rain coat /
Umbrella.
c. Proper clothing
d. Touch Light.
e. 2 ~ 3 Boxes. ( for
Insect's / Bug's )
f. Insects Repellent
& Glove.
g. Snack &
